Dideba da ghme-e--e-rtsa da             

Mama ghmertis dze-e-sa                                

Madli da misi ts'qaloba                               

Aka mqopelta st'umrebs da maspi-indzeltsa            

Glory to God

And to the Son of God

Mercy and his grace

To guests and hosts both.

 

Ghmertma agvavsos purita da    

I-eso krist'em ghvi-i-ni-i-ta                   

Agvishenos maspindzeli                  

St'umars mo-u-ma-arto-os khe-e-li da

May God give us bread in adundance

And Christ give us plenty of wine
May our host prosper

And our guest flourish.
